Algiz as a Birth Rune

Algiz people are born guardians. They sense danger before others do and instinctively step in to defend the weak. People feel safe around them.

Yet their protectiveness comes not from aggression but from an inner connection with something larger than themselves: faith, values, intuition. Algiz's lesson is to protect without turning life into a fortress.

• A nose for danger. You notice a threat before it shows itself.
• A connection with the higher. You have strong intuition and a sense of support from above.

Algiz's shadow is too much wariness. The person guards themselves against the world so closely that they shut themselves off from opportunities and people, seeing threats where there are none.

Another pitfall is overprotection: the wish to protect becomes control, and loved ones lack freedom. What the rune teaches is that the best protection is trust, not walls.
