Jack of Spades as a Birth Card

People of this card are creatively gifted and independent. They know how to captivate, perform and present themselves as needed. They have a strong pull toward freedom and self-expression.

The Jack of Spades' other side is a spiritual search. When showmanship joins with depth, these people create work that truly moves others.

• Showmanship. You can transform yourself and captivate people.
• Creative power. You make things that are vivid and unusual.
• Independence. You go your own way.
• A deep search. You are drawn to meaning, not only outward success.

The ability to play roles can become a habit of hiding behind a mask. The person shows people what they want to see and loses touch with themselves.

In this card's shadow there is also the temptation of easy roads: to cheat, to take without asking, to get around the rules. The Jack of Spades is stronger when its talent serves honest work.

You are a vivid, interesting partner who is never dull. You need freedom and someone who accepts the real you.

Take off your masks with those close to you. Love lives where there is no need to perform.

The Jack of Spades suits creative work: theatre and film, music, art, media, advertising, as well as spiritual and psychological practice, where its search is needed.

It opens up where it can be itself and create.

The Jack opens the court cards of the last suit, the Spades. It owns two days at the start of the year: January 3 and February 1.
