Seven of Clubs as a Birth Card

People of this card think more deeply than most. They notice hidden links and see the essence of things. Questions of meaning, philosophy and spirituality draw them.

The power of their mind cuts both ways: it can build an inspiring vision or spin a fear into a catastrophe. When the Seven of Clubs chooses faith, its thoughts become a support for itself and for others.

• Depth of thought. You see what a surface glance misses.
• Faith. Having passed through doubt, you gain a firm inner footing.
• Wise words. You can support someone with a thought that changes their view.
• A spiritual search. You are guided by the wish to understand what matters most.

The Seven of Clubs' Achilles' heel is anxious thinking. The mind paints worst-case scenarios and wastes strength on things that never happen.

Doubt in yourself and others can also drag you down: the person trusts neither people nor their own decisions. The antidote is to notice thoughts and choose which ones to believe.

People can talk to you about what matters most. You need a partner who can share the depth of your reflections and support you in moments of doubt.

Don't fill in your partner's feelings for them. Ask directly, and anxiety will give way to clarity.

The Seven of Clubs is drawn to work that needs a deep mind: philosophy and science, psychology, writing, teaching, spiritual practice, research, counselling.

Its success comes when it believes in what it does, and in itself.

The Seven stands in the very middle of the suit of Clubs, at the turn from everyday knowledge to spiritual knowledge. Its days run from late March to December, ten of them in all.
