The sharp break has already landed, yet neither recovery nor a new storm follows it. Everything simply freezes. The field after the hail lies ruined, and ice locks over it, so the wreckage cannot be cleared and rebuilding cannot begin yet. Both runes stand in Heimdall's aett, the row of trials, so the pairing reads as a double warning: a force broke the usual run of affairs, and now the time itself demands endurance and patience. Hurrying is pointless, for ice cannot be melted by will, only by a change of season.
